Parental/Guardian Agreement for Minors

Purpose of This Agreement

This Parental/Guardian Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the responsibilities of parents and guardians when a minor participates in any training session arranged through the COACHD App, LLC / COACH’D. It is designed to protect minors, coaches, and the COACHD App, LLC / COACH’D platform, and works alongside the End User Agreement, Liability Waiver, and all other COACH’D policies.

Definition of a Minor

A “minor” is any individual under the age of 18. Parents/guardians are fully responsible for ensuring that minors comply with all COACH’D policies.

Mandatory Parent/Guardian Presence

To ensure safety and eliminate liability risks:

A. Required Attendance
A parent or legal guardian must be physically present for the entire duration of every in-person training session involving a minor.

B. No Exceptions
There are no exceptions to this requirement, including:
• First-time sessions
• One-on-one sessions
• Group sessions
• Outdoor or facility-based sessions

If a parent/guardian is not present, the coach must cancel or refuse the session without a refund.

This eliminates any potential problems, confusion or claims against the coaches.

Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

By agreeing to this policy, the parent/guardian acknowledges and agrees to:
• Arrive on time and remain on-site for the full session
• Supervise the minor before and after the session
• Ensure the minor behaves safely and respectfully
• Communicate any medical or safety concerns to the coach
• Accept full responsibility for transportation and pickup
COACH’D and its coaches are not responsible for minors left unattended.

Coach Responsibilities

Coaches agree to:
• Confirm a parent/guardian is present before beginning the session
• Refuse or cancel the session if no parent/guardian is present
• Maintain professional boundaries at all times
• Report any safety concerns to COACH’D immediately
This aligns with the Coach Agreement.

Liability Release

By allowing a minor to participate, the parent/guardian:

• Assumes all risks associated with athletic training
• Releases COACH’D and its coaches from liability for injuries, accidents, or incidents
• Acknowledges that COACH’D does not supervise or monitor in-person sessions
• Confirms they have reviewed and accepted the Liability Waiver

COACH’D is not responsible for the safety of minors outside the presence of their
parent/guardian.

Prohibited Situations

The following are strictly prohibited:
• Leaving a minor alone with a coach
• Dropping off a minor without staying for the session
• Asking a coach to transport a minor
• Allowing a minor to meet a coach in a private or isolated location
Any violation may result in account suspension or removal.

Emergency Situations

In the event of an emergency, the parent/guardian agrees to:
• Be immediately reachable
• Take full responsibility for medical decisions
• Cover any medical or emergency costs
Coaches may contact emergency services if necessary.

Acknowledgment & Consent

By using COACH’D and scheduling a session for a minor, the parent/guardian confirms that they:
• Have read and understand this Agreement
• Agree to remain present for all sessions
• Accept full responsibility for the minor’s safety
• Understand that failure to comply may result in session cancellation or account action

Policy Updates

COACH’D may update this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
